DETROIT — An attorney for a Nigerian man charged with trying to blow up a Northwest Airlines plane near Detroit says he's been transferred to a federal prison.

Miriam Siefer (SEE-fuhr) says she hasn't had in-depth talk yet with Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab .... SNIP ....

She said Sunday he's now at a prison in Milan about 50 miles away from Detroit after being released from a hospital where he was treated for burns.

He will not be getting out of there at all. I do not believe it has ever been a escape from this prison, ever. It's pretty much in the middle of the country, with two other state of Michigan prisons right up the street. I think the Repukes have nothing to worry about....but they will make this an issue anyway....watch!

Abdulmutallab was released from a hospital in Ann Arbor, Michigan, on Sunday after being treated for burns, according to Gina Balaya, a spokeswoman for the U.S. attorney's office in Detroit, Michigan. The 23-year-old is charged with attempting to set off an explosive device aboard a Northwest Airlines flight from the Netherlands shortly before its landing in Detroit on Christmas Day, and was being held in an undisclosed location, Balaya told CNN.

They JUST announced that the suspect is at the Federal Prison in Milan, MI. First, the reporter could not even pronounce Milan, which is called "My-Land" not "May-Lawn" like the reporter announced. Now he is at a "Undisclosed Location". Maybe they need to stop reporting and double check their facts....just a little bit :shrug:
