Gibbs: We've Gained Useful Intelligence From Would-Be Bomber

The Obama administration said on Tuesday that it has gained "useful and actionable intelligence" from the would-be Christmas airplane bomber even as conservative critics slam the president for putting Umar Farouk Abdul Mutallab through the criminal justice system.

Speaking to reporters during the first daily briefing since the president returned from Hawaii, Press Secretary Robert Gibbs said interrogations of Abdul Mutallab have thus far been productive.

"The subject, as you know, was taken from a plane in Detroit. FBI interrogators spent quite some time with him. I don't want to get into all the specifics. But... I would say he has provided, in those interrogations, useful intelligence," said Gibbs. Pressed on what information was provided, he replied: "I'm not going to get into all of what he said, but, again, I think that the interrogators believe he has provided them with useful intelligence."

3. So, the thinktanks at the TSA were unable to determine

on their own, that somebody might sew a two part fuse material into their taint and attempt to set it off?

Gat DAMN that morans is stoopid.

Here's how it goes down: somebody flies planes into our skyscrapers, and all of a sudden edged weapons on airplanes are discovered to be a threat.

Somebody brings plastic explosives aboard and attempts to detonate and we discover that high nitrogen donor substances, including British bread pudding and fruit cake, are potentially dangerous.

Now we have somebody's flaming taint stinking up the airports and that dude ain't gonna shit right for about six more weeks, and all of a sudden we have to pat down our panties.

Here's a thought! Why don't they just shrink wrap us and load us up all hannibal lecter style for the quick hop over the pond? Make luggage illegal. And clothes too. And red onions and cheese for certain individuals, like me, because I KNOW I can bring down an entire flight with nothing but the part behind the taint if improperly nutrified before a long flight, and I won't even have to light it.

What the hell was I talking about? Oh yeah. Yay TSA and your little 20/20 hindsight too.
