German parliament to investigate alleged CIA (Blackwater) murderplot

Hamburg- German legislators are to investigate claims that the US Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) plotted to murder an alleged al-Qaeda fundraiser in Hamburg, the head of parliament's Internal Affairs Committee said on Thursday. Wolfgang Bosbach, of Chancellor Angela Merkel's Christian Democrats (CDU), said his committee would look into alleged CIA plans targeting Syrian-born Mamoun Darkazanli.

US magazine Vanity Fair first broke the story, claiming that the CIA sent a team from the private security firm Blackwater, now Xe, to Hamburg to "find, fix and finish" Darkazanli, 51.

Darkazanli, who has a German passport, was an associate of several of the Hamburg suicide attackers who used hijacked jets to kill almost 3,000 people on September 11, 2001 in New York, Washington and Pennsylvania. Germany investigated him but did not try him.

Darkazanli said he suspected there was a US plot to murder him, during a television interview earlier this week. Just recently he had noticed cars which could be connected to such a plot, he added.

"It has not stopped. Nobody knew, who was after me," Darkazanli told ARD television. He had even found suspicious electronic components in his wife's car, he added.

1. I have a huge problem with this picture, Why now? 8 1/2yrs later.
The CIA wants to take him out? A little late guys,
The only reason I can think that they want to take him out is that he
has direct information that Dick Cheney directs all of AlQaeda's activities.
And they can't let this get out now can they?

2. The plan was hatched and put into play four years ago

Four years ago in Hamburg, the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) and mercenary firm Blackwater planned and prepared the assassination of the German-Syrian businessman Mamoun Darkazanli.

It was part of Cheney's secret assassination squads he created at the CIA and Pentagon.
