Dubai-bound plane grounded at London's Heathrow Airport after security alert
Source: BBC News

Police are attending a security alert at London's Heathrow Airport, a spokesman has said.

A Scotland Yard source confirmed an incident occurred on a Dubai-bound plane, believed to be an Emirates jet.

A spokesman for the Met said: "We are aware of a security incident at Heathrow. The airport and terminal remains open."

It is being reported that there have been two arrests and the remaining passengers are still on the jet.

1. More drunk passengers?
If so, that will be three flights today disrupted, diverted and/or grounded due to alcohol.

4. I bet they regret having that last drink before they boarded.
If nothing else, they've learned that now was not a good time to be acting the fool on an airplane.

2. I wouldn't be surprised
if airport/in-flight alcohol bans and breathalyzer tests before boarding soon become the norm
