Spain willing to receive two Guantanamo prisoners

Spain’s Foreign Minister Miguel Angel Moratinos announced on Monday that the country is now willing to accept two prisoners from the United States’ Guantanamo Bay detention camp in Cuba. He also said that the Spanish government is trying to ensure that the process is carried out smoothly.

The nationalities of the prisoners are unknown at the moment, and the FM has said that Spain would assist US President Barrack Obama in his attempt to shut down this jail of ‘moral and ethical anachronism’ ...
