Swiss parliamentarians against accepting more Guantanamo inmates

GENEVA, Jan. 12 (Xinhua) -- A Swiss parliamentary committee on Tuesday advised the government not to accept any more asylum seekers from the U.S. military prison at Guantanamo Bay in Cuba, the official Swissinfo.ch news website reported.

The security policy committee of the House of Representatives decided by 15 votes to 10 to make this general recommendation to the government, according to the report.
