but then it looked like his monitors came in and told him no --
Shameful -- all of it!!

14. I watched some of this tragedy on the BBC last night and this morning . . . |
|
and first hit into CNN for a few minutes --
and couldn't believe CNN were highlighting the collapse of a prison . . .
and the threats from the prisoners now on the loose!!!
Next . . . ? Rapes and looting?
1% of the country owns 99% of the property, wealth, resources . . .
and they think the criminals were inside a prison???

9. It's politically smart for Obama to do this. The right wing |

was starting their lies -- comparing him and Junior, Haiti and Katrina. His political people are just calling that bluff.

give it a rest. Alliance with the devil, you sound like Pat Robertson. The people in Haiti need all the help they can get. No matter where/who it comes from. If you really cared about what has happened in Haiti you would know that. If you don't vote for Obama good, fine. Who gives a shit? Right now Haitians, US citizens in Haiti, Red Cross etc., need help. Deal with your hate in your own way. Stop trying to convince others to hate when help is needed.

How many billions are they planning to get off of this scam? Helping the poor black people of Haiti, as if the people are not suffering enough without Billy Boy and Chuckles grabbing a photo opp to promote their new opportunity to make billions off of other peoples suffering, just like Pappy Bush and Billy Boy did for the Katrina victims.:eyes: :pals:
These guys just make me want to:puke:
I don't believe anything these people do is for humanitarian reasons.

25. Can't good liberals put hatred and politics aside for just a little while? |
|
Thousands upon thousands of some of the worlds most needy people are now dead, injured, or homeless. Help is needed FAST. This was a good move by President Obama because both ex-Presidents should be able to raise significant funds quickly. I simply don't see partisan politics involved here, and I think we should be able to come to terms with that, not to mention opening our wallets at least a little bit.

29. Call it community service. |
|
Remember, georgie had to do community service after his cocaine bust back in the 70's (even if the record was later scrubbed).
Let's just call this "community service" for a small fraction of his crimes against humanity. I think President Obama did a wise thing in putting him to work at something worthwhile for a change.
An added bonus is that you can bet it chaps georgie's hide something awful that his corrupt, privileged, WASP ass is being ordered around by a black man. It's not full justice by any means, but it is a drop or two in the bucket.

31. This is a foolish mistake. |
|
There's something suspicious about this. While I might understand sending Bill Clinton, to send Bush just defies logic. Who can forget that fool while New Orleans sank. Playing a guitar, then eating birthday cake with John Mc Cain. It makes no sense.
First of all, Haiti right now needs HELP more than anything. Effective, fast relief. Hospital care. Food, clothing, fresh water.
What can these 2 people accomplish? The only thing I can think of to send them would be to get lots of publicity. To call attention to the urgent situation. This is not necessary: the world understands the urgency, Haiti does not need "PR" men.
Keep Bush out of there.:smoke:
