Obama On Fox News: Bret Baier To Interview President
Source: Huffington Post

President Obama will sit down with Fox News' Bret Baier Wednesday for what is being called an "exclusive" interview.

Baier announced the interview — his first sit-down with the President — Tuesday, saying it was a "long time coming."

Obama will appear on Baier's 6PM broadcast, "Special Report" to discuss "the upcoming House vote on health care reform and what to expect in Washington in the weeks ahead," according to a network announcement.

"Hell freezes over: Obama to be interviewed on Fox News. Bret Baier just announced. Prez must REALLY want health care to pass," Washington Post writer and CNN host Howard Kurtz tweeted.

they can do what they want. make the interview look however they want. cut out any 'touche' moments, anything that makes too much sense.

18. Learn?
Not sure that's in the administration's tool set.

I guess we'll see if this will be different from when he went to the Chamber of Commerce -and took a smack at teachers- or when he spoke with Bloomberg about Wall Street bonuses and baseball players.

Every Democratic constituency out there had better watch their backs...

But we know that they will SKEW everything President Obama says and SPIN their talking points accordingly.

His appearance only serves to buck-up the GOP and their minions ... It is NOT a good tactical move if you truly want DEMOCRATIC reform.

However, if you wish to maintain "the status quo," thus serving the economic upper 1%, what President Obama is doing is PERFECT.

More sniping and gridlock? CHECK!

Mission Accomplished President Obama! :(

12. Why does President Obama legitimize FOX News?
I think he doesn't care if he's re-elected.

This makes ZERO sense. The people on FOX almost ALL LOATH HIM, yet he will converse with them.

Unless he's serving "a higher authority" (big money and power), I don't get it?

President Obama KNOWS they HATE him, yet he placates them.

IMO, it's not sound behavior of a visionary LEADER.

17. Obama always does very well...
...going directly at his opposition.

The GOP retreat and Healthcare forum should have proved this to any remaining doubters.

The President should actually do this kind of thing MORE. He always does amazingly well in these interviews, and yes, he has a chance to show a very large audience of dimwits that he isn't a communist out to steal their guns and bibles.

His interview with O'Reilly during the campaign was actually very good. He made O'Reilly look like more of a buffoon than normal.

The President is very quick on his feet, there is no reason he shouldn't come out and confront those that are trying to stop any progress in this country.
