Deal reached over World Trade Center site
Four office towers to be built; dispute had delayed construction

updated 28 minutes ago

NEW YORK - The World Trade Center developer and government agencies that control the site have reached a tentative deal to resolve a 16-month stalemate over rebuilding at ground zero.

The arrangement was announced by the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey following a board meeting Thursday.

3. And Bush thought we could rebuild the middle east?
It's been almost 9 years and we haven't been able to rebuild 8 city blocks. In our own country. With no enemy gunfire or roadside bombs around. And Bush thought we could rebuild Baghdad?

5. Indeed.
There are, after all, other green spaces in Manhattan. Not all the land is developed, and that's the way it should be.

6. Remember 9/11!
Meanwhile, we're going develop the site to provide McJobs at McOffice Towers so that our McInvestors can make a McBuck.

If they could put a price on their grandma's cremains, they would.
