Rifleman opens fire in Franklinton (Ohio). Police urge residents to take cover
Edited on Mon Mar-29-10 04:34 PM by Ian David
Source: THE COLUMBUS DISPATCH

Police are warning people in an area of Franklinton to take cover as a man with a high-powered rifle is randomly firing shots from a house there.

No one has been reported struck by gunfire, but police are trying to keep pedestrians away from Campbell Avenue between Avondale and Dakota avenues. The area is just north of I-70.

The man began firing about 4:20 p.m. from the second floor of a house in the 1000 block of Campbell Avenue. Police have surrounded the house. The man may also have a shotgun and handgun inside.

<snip>

Several people escaped from the home where the shooter is holed up. It is not clear what prompted him to start firing.

16. Keep hoping....
What load of crap are you talking about? Venom, venom and more venom....you sound just like a redneck.

Even Nancy Pelosi admits they have some points. If everyone would put down the tar and feathers and return to making intelligent comments and discussing issues, I'd take the discussion seriously.

9. LOL! I thought the same thing!
It did say several people escaped the house...The "bogarter" could be the gunman or one of those who fled.

Seriously, it is probably one of those NUTS from youtube who think the Feds are coming to take their cap gun!
