(U.S. Sen. Rick Santorum ) Debt from health bill 'problem'
Source: Omaha World Herald

By David Hendee

The nation's debt burden is reason enough for Americans to rally around political leaders and candidates vowing to repeal the new national health care law, former U.S. Sen. Rick Santorum said Monday in Omaha.

The potential 2012 presidential contender described the law as “another huge excavation project” that is digging the nation deeper in debt.

The nation's financial health is so weak, Santorum said in an interview, that Omaha-based Berkshire Hathaway borrows money at lower interest rates than the federal government. Many Americans fear that future generations will have a lower quality of life because of today's growing government debt, he said.

“We have an opportunity and an obligation to do something about that now, and it's not to make it worse,'' he said. “First thing we do is repeal what has been passed.''

1. Does Tricky Ricky have any idea of how the nation's financial health got so weak?
Could it have anything to do with humongous military budgets and two ongoing occupations?

11. Don't forget the unnecessary tax-cuts for the mega-wealthy...
I still can't believe anyone actually thinks Man-on-Dog-Santorum is a viable 2012 presidential candidate... But with thousands of uninformed tea-hadists (love that term), it's probably likely..

2. Massive federal debt is never a problem
when RepubliCONS borrow.

They just can't stand the thought of helping the vast majority of American citizens. But there is always plenty of money for overpriced military contractors and wars.

5. A paper towel won't do it
For that much santorum you'd need a pressure washer.

But seriously, guys, both Democrats and Republicans like to spend money like there's no tomorrow, it's just that Republicans like to spend it on shit that will help absolutely nothing. Example: the Sergeant York Division Air Defense system. The Republicans threw a billion dollars at a developmental antiaircraft gun that was intended to shoot down airplanes that can outrun bullets.

14. Fortunately for me, I know you're joking. Aren't you?
Wait, this is the bunch that has been spending money on sending crews to different parts of Alaska to prove that Sarah Palin really can see Russia from her back yard.

4. Rantorum manages to take GOP hypocrisy to a whole another level of inanity.

That says a lot about the GOP in general and in that little two faced wingnut in particular.

Hey Ricky boy, we ran you out of PA for a reason. Now be a good little loser and just shut the hell up!

Let's not forget his little crusade to limit medical malpractice awards while seeking twice the proposed limit for himself and his wife.

7. Ricky Santorum, Harold Ford, Newt f'ing Gingrich, Tommy "the cockroach" DeLay
and Palin. These losers and quitters should not be disgracing our TV screens. I need a cable box with a parental block feature that locks out these tea-baggers.

12. Tax Cheat Santorum Will Say Anything to Get on the Public Dole
Disregard this clown Rick Santorum. He provided his children with expensive home schooling on the taxpayer dime in one state, while maintaining an expensive primary residence in another state.

A scoundrel is not the type of person I would listen to for advice on social issues.

Tell Rick Santorum he is not an "heir to the kingdom", but a thief, and a fraud and certainly a intolerant bigot.

I'd avoid him.

13. Who
listens to this wind bag? Ex senators do not have much clout only ego. GOP senators take the lead in the race for egomania. How do these guys even get press time? Delay, Gingrich, Santorum? If what they had to say was influnential they would still be in Congress. Wasn't he(Santorum)wound up with Abramhoff?
