(Sen.) Ensign Ignores Calls For Resignation
Source: kxnt

Embattled Senator John Ensign is ignoring calls from some fellow Republicans to resign. Ensign says he is "trying to become a better person, a better husband, a better friend" and a "better senator," vowing to "try to do the best job" that he can. Last week, Congressman Dean Heller described Ensign as "wounded," while two former Clark County GOP officials also urged the junior senator to step down. Ensign, who admitted having an affair with the wife of former administrative assistant Doug Hampton, is now under investigation by the Senate Ethics Committee and the Justice Department as to whether he helped Hampton get a lobbying job in violation of a one-year "cooling off" period.

3. Typical Family Values (smirk) Republicon
Values are in the gutter. Pretends innocence. Blames others. Refuses to accept responsibility for wrongding.

No honor.

4. Gee but they all called for Clinton's resignation.
And the because the had the majority they impeached him. It seems when the republicans have the majority they do any damn thing they want no matter how common, how untrue. But the Democrats now have the majority and they are refusing to do what is right. Like arrest bush and cheney and the rest of the bush administration. Kick the republicans in congress to the woodwork they crawled out of, pass laws that help the American people and to hell with republicans approving.

And now appointing a liberal and real judge who would be of the people and for the people, regardless of what the republicans are telling Obama to do....forget the damn republicans they are the minority. Forget them, forget them. Make sure we do what is best for our country and our people and not corporations and the radical republicans and the screwed up bunch of brain dead tea bags whose have a worst than brain dead leader palin.

5. Stay the course Ensign
You're totally wrong. You're an embarrassment and a hypocrite. But I like that you're stayin' da' course.

There's no shame unless you admit to it. Isn't it great never having to admit you're wrong. Today's GOP.

Because that being a "better stud" thing didn't work out so well.

Anyway... the "better husband, a better friend" and a "better senator" thing shouldn't be too hard.

8. Let's hope he sticks around!
Let's hope he speaks up loudly and often, like Palin during the 2008 election!
