University to turn over Palin speech documents

The strange saga surrounding Sarah Palin's contract to appear at a Cal State Stanislaus fundraiser continues to grow weirder, more confusing and nastier.

This week, in a turnabout, the university acknowledged the existence of at least 899 records about Palin's June 25 speech at a gala dinner in Turlock, and said it will turn them over to the nonprofit group that requested the information.

A California State University system attorney, Dawn Theodora, held a news conference at which she accused state Sen. Leland Yee, D-San Francisco, "of trying to create scandal where there is none," and Yee, in a news release, said the university violated state law "800 or 900 times."

The controversy started in late March, after word of the Palin appearance and rumors of a $200,000 speaker's fee surfaced. University officials said they didn't have to turn over documents about the event, saying it was arranged by a private foundation. Then they said they had no records that needed to be disclosed.

3. I keep thinking Palin's 15 minutes have GOT to up by now, but she just keeps coming back.

The woman is a documented liar.

She lied to the nation and the world about that "thanks but no thanks on that bridge to nowhere" which had been debunked over and over again, yet she still kept on lying.

She screwed the people of Alaska royally when she left halfway before her term as Governor was up. She lied to them saying the decision was done for their best interests, but now we know--$12 million later--that she did it all for her selfish self...for the money. Typical piece of crap, lying, hypocritical Republican.

Her "abstinence is best" teachings sure didn't get through to her daughter. Of course, I hear she really isn't much of a Mother in the first place, unless you append f***er to the end of the word, as she does fit that description.

Palin is not smart, she doesn't read ANYTHING, her husband is a secessionist, her family is trash, and what she expects of others doesn't apply to her.

Why anyone would care one bit what this idiot woman has to say is beyond me. She fuels people's prejudices and hatred, and perhaps that's enough.

But the most pathetic thing of all is the idiots who pay for her books, pay to hear her speak, or fuel the media frenzy surrounding her are the the real losers. Palin is just using them to stuff her bank accounts with cash before someone gets the hint and exposes her for the fraud she truly is.

She doesn't care about anyone but herself. But she'll pretend to care...as long as the cash keeps flowing in.
