Bush ("Miss Me Yet?") billboard causes stir (FL)
Source: wsvn

NORTH MIAMI, Fla. (WSVN) -- A message supposedly from a former president has plenty of people in South Florida curious.

Some call the highway sign an eyesore. Others, an eye-opener. "It's hilarious," said one woman.

Some drivers traveling southbound on Interstate 95 have been left doing a double take. "I came around twice," said Quinton Nichols of Hollywood, who took the Northwest 135th Street exit Thursday just to take a closer look. "I came, decided I'd take a picture of it."

The giant billboard of a beaming former President George Bush poses the question: "Miss me yet?"

"Hell, no, I do not miss him," responded Deborah Sandlin, who lives in the shadows of the giant billboard. "To see Bush's face looking down at me ... I really don't appreciate it at all."

"He did a lot wrong to the country, then to ask, 'Do you miss me yet?' playing with feelings and emotions," said Nichols.

10. Whatever their intent, it will only help Dems.
The GOP doesn't really want people to remember Dubya.

12. This campaign can only help the Democrats, so don't complain.
No one, no one who isn't already a Bush supporter is going to see it and think they miss him, no matter how much they may have come to dislike Obama. Reminding people of Bush can only help the Democrats.

16. Someone should stick it on one of the Gulf beaches
And stick another one in New Orleans. Maybe it can be used for target practice.
