AP— Pakistani TV stations are reporting that gunmen armed with grenades have attacked two mosques belonging to a minority Islamic sect during Friday prayers in the eastern Pakistani city of Lahore.
The attacks were against the Ahmadi group, which has often been targeted by radical Sunni groups in the past.
The reports said the mosques were several miles (kilometers) apart from each other,
The reports did not mention death or injuries, but said that casualties were expected.

Gunmen armed with grenades have attacked two mosques in the eastern Pakistani city of Lahore and have reportedly taken hostages.
There was no immediate information on casualties.
Gunmen opened fire shortly after Friday prayers at two Ahmadi mosques in two residential neighbourhoods in Pakistan's cultural capital.
They then threw what were believed to be grenades.
Pakistani TV reports said there were 1,500 to 2,000 at one of the mosques and those people had been taken hostage.
