Braidwood inquiry Taser findings upheld by court
Source: CBC News

The B.C. Supreme Court has upheld findings by the Braidwood inquiry that stun guns can kill.

Taser International had challenged the findings, calling them unfair, unfounded and a black mark on the company's reputation.

But in a ruling released Tuesday morning, B.C. Supreme Court Justice Robert Sewell said the company's arguments hold "no merit."

Sewell said it's clear to him that the inquiry's commissioner, retired justice Thomas Braidwood, had carefully looked at the opinions of medical experts and his findings were reasonable.

2. Too many rich Americans;
Hold stock in the company to have it turn out that way here. Another reason Canada rocks.

4. The obvious answer
is that US police departments will have one more way to shrug off deaths due to over/unnecessary tasering.. IE "what, it happens sometimes with these things, its not our fault just cause we tasered him 17 times after he was cuffed and lying face down on the ground, It was the taser. Nothing anyone could have done, stop persecuting this poor officer who was just doing his job"

5. Good.
The Cockroach Brothers should volunteer to be tasered multiple times with in a few minutes and then see what happens.
