Rev. Jesse Jackson and members of the Rainbow PUSH Coalition-Rebuild America-Jobs, Justice and Peace Michigan Bus Tour, stop by the Burning Bush Church in Ypsilanti, Michigan on August 23.

<b>The Ypsilanti, Michigan Community Welcomes Rev. Jesse Jackson and the Rainbow PUSH Coalition<b>

A large engaged audience, Ypsilanti Township Governmental Officials Clerk-Brenda Stumbo, Trustee-Jean Hall Currie, Fire Chief-Eric Copeland and various community leaders, welcomed Rev. Jackson. Prior to Rev. Jackson’s speech, the Burning Bush Choir, motivated the audience to stand to their feet, with songs of inspiration.

Burning Bush Church Pastor Don Shelby, introduced Rev. Jackson to the crowd as the leader in the area of civil rights, across the nation. “We are honored to have Rev. Jackson, who marched with the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, here to speak to our community.", Rev. Shelby stated. Washtenaw County Commissioner and Burning Bush Church member Ronnie Peterson, arranged Rev. Jackson’s appearance.

3. Ypsilanti is a great name!!
It is pronounced -YPSI-Land-TI...almost like Yepe-land-ee. Great town and with a name people seem to never forget!

6. You have to love.....
Our famous tower... In fact, a picture of John Boeher's face, would fit perfect on the Water Tower. Sadly, it would probably be tore down quickly because Ypsilanti is a LIBERAL type of town, for the most part.

Love my town and our interesting Water Tower :).
