Blackwater founder questioned in Abu Dhabi
Source: The National

Erik Prince, founder of the Blackwater private security firm, was questioned on Monday in Abu Dhabi, where he now lives, as part of a civil lawsuit by former employees of his company.

Susan Burke, a lawyer representing two whistle-blowers, said Mr Prince had become a UAE resident on August 12.

The deposition on Monday was taken in connection with a civil lawsuit. A couple formerly employed by Blackwater are suing Mr Prince and his companies under the False Claims Act in the US.

“It was only because he relocated here … that I had to come here to take the deposition,” Ms Burke said. Mr Prince attended the hearing with his lawyer, a court reporter and a videographer...

Apparently not so far out of reach as Mr. Prince would like!

1. I would not be surprised if he has a contract hit out against him
or if he knows some ex-employees are looking to kill him.

Dead would be a fitting end for the headmaster of this Bush/Cheney group of war profiteers and mercenaries. Erik will spend the rest of his life looking over his shoulder waiting for it to come.

2. I would not wish death on anyone
But I would not be surprised if one of his paid henchman DO come after him at some point in time. He made them - now he has to live with that.

4. there were a couple of people like that in OCS
when i was at Quantico where the Corps trained me. one of my SSgts was really, really blunt about it (she was African American as I was and at times we'd discuss the Corps' treatment of such). she flat out admitted she was told to do anything and everything to make sure a couple of children of very connected/politically important/rich people did not wash out, no matter how much they deserved it.

if the military wants to elevate you, they will. no matter how incompetent a soldier/sailor/etc you may actually be.

10. Do you suppose that is how a certain former presidential candidate got where he got?
Low man in his class. Just happening to be on an aircraft carrier on which there was an accident and then taken as a prisoner of war. Illustrious career. Did not seem to keep him out of the Senate.

13. Could you be so kind
to not write the word, 'pussy?' It's an insult to all WOMEN. Get it? Or do only Black and Gay people get respect around here?

6. Why is this criminal parasite not on the most-wanted list?
His assets should be seized, at a minimum.

7. Prince moved for a reason. He is running from something.
It's obvious. I want to see that despicable piece of feces in jail.

8. w/ out a doubt he is on the run
Prince has been very outspoken in his dislike of Muslims so he must be desperate
to move to an Islamic country.

14. May he incur a debt he
cannot repay while living there. That gov't puts debtors in jail forever. Many horror stories about people doing business there....their passports are seized and they have to find a boat and get away in the dark of night.

Now that would be JUSTICE....stuck in an Abu Dabai jail. Bet there's no cable.
