Obama: Too many Americans still out of work
Source: MSNBC

WASHINGTON — President Barack Obama acknowledged Monday that the economy continues to struggle and too many Americans are still struggling to find jobs.

He also took Republicans to task for what he said was partisan politics that are standing in the way of passing a bill aimed at helping small businesses.

The bill "has been held up by a partisan minority that won't even allow it to go for a vote," Obama said in brief remarks on the economy from the White House Rose Garden. Obama spoke shortly after meeting with his economic advisers.

"That makes no sense. This bill is fully paid for, it will not add to the deficit, there is no reason to hold it except for partisan politics," the president added.

1. Someone needs to slip Obama a can of whoop ass and have him unload it on the repugs.
He basically has a free shot at these fuckin idiots and that is the harshest language he's using.

2. Blah blah blah
If he would have used more of the stimulus package for job creating public works projects (badly needed by the way) instead of giving it all to a bunch of thieving bank executives to more or less hoard maybe there would be an additional job or a few thousand.

He sure is a good talker though.

Maybe Bill Clinton isn't the best republican president we've ever had.

8. "...too many Americans are still struggling to find jobs."
....no shit, Sherlock, and if the Dems don't drop their excuses and start creating some good-paying jobs (and I don't care how), they'll soon be counted among the unemployed....

....people are getting fed-up with sympathetic excuses....jobs baby, we need living-wage JOBS!

12. Tough thing to do when 10% of the population...
... controls 80% of the country's wealth. The remaining 90% of us have too little to be worth troubling over.

17. why is it the White House is only blunt in insulting the Democratic base, but tiptoes around GOP?
''a partisan minority''? Just say ''Republicans'' or better yet, ''conservatives'' to encompass the corporate owned asshole wing of the Democratic Party.

and Karl Rove at least had the brains to only kick the Dems base in the nuts, not his own base.
