Man accused of shooting at day laborers at Bellevue Home Depot
Source: Seattle Times

A 25-year-old camera salesman was arrested Sunday afternoon after police say he randomly shot at a group of day laborers in the parking lot of a Bellevue Home Depot store. No one was injured.

Just before 1 p.m., officers were dispatched to the Home Depot at 325 120th Ave. N.E. after someone reported that shots had been fired, according to the Bellevue police report.

At least three men told officers that a man wearing a red T-shirt and driving a green Ford Explorer had sped off after firing shots at the group of day laborers, the report says. No one was hit. "None of the witnesses could pinpoint any one person who the shots were being fired at, but the entire crowd agreed that they were in fear of being shot," the report says.

4. The rest of the story is frickin' hilarious
only because no one was hurt.

I work just around the block from there. Bellevue is, um, pretty highbrow, I'm kind of surprised they "allow" day laborers to be in "their" town. Thank goodness, I only work in this creepy town. I long to move back to Seattle.

5. Hard to believe it was just a random shooting
Because the victims were day labourers, who usually hang out on storefronts asking people for work, the shooter pretty much had to know his targets, right?

Wow, Fox News and hate radio have really influenced all these crazy hate crimes against people vilified by those mediums...illegal immigrants, Muslims, and other people of colour. Yikes.

6. Prank gone bad?
The Seattle Times link in the OP has been updated to say it was an Airsoft pellet gun that was used.
