Outrage after new delay in Philippine massacre trial

MANILA — Relatives of 57 people killed in the Philippines' worst political massacre expressed outrage on Wednesday after a court delayed the trial of the main suspect and his alleged police accomplices.

"The court is very unfair and it is always favouring the criminals," Catherine Nunez, a mother of one the victims, told reporters as she broke down in tears inside the Manila courtroom after the judge postponed proceedings.

1. That is most of it.
The people that care do not have many resources. And it can happen where people fear for themselves and family, because bad people use intimidation and fear.

Can't really blame them, but courage should be part of many places. The question would then be could they kill more, then are created by such actions. Although that requiers people seeing what is going on.

And that equation is the same downward spiral of any violence, and part of peaceful resistance and nonviolent change.

But I think some people could be scared, that is why it is so important to get people that intimidate or hurt people out of power.
