Rick Scott picks Rep. Jennifer Carroll as running mate
Source: Hot Air

Rick Scott stunned Florida AG Bill McCollum to win the Republican nomination for governor in the race to replace Charlie Crist, who chose poorly in deciding to run for the Senate rather than a second term. Scott’s opponent, Alex Sink, and the Democrats have already lashed out at Scott for his past business dealings as well as his links to the Tea Party movement, which they hope to paint as extremist and out of touch with Florida voters. Scott may stun them again with his choice of running mate, state Rep. Jennifer Carroll, whose life story reads like a Hollywood script:

4. There's more...
she's known for bringing some mighty big pork to Fleming Island, a wealthy PUD in Clay County. She's also in hip-deep with Jeb Bush and his gang.

3. Like it or not this was a smart move by Scott
picking a Navy vet, African-American, a woman, a business-woman.

Indirectly it will help Kendrick Meek by bringing out more African-
Americans to the polling place.

5. So they think that
FL African Americans are that dumb to vote for her just because she's black? I highly doubt it. She's known for running around in Jeb's crowd in this area and that won't sit well with anyone but his gangsters' followers.
