1. Can you give us any more details? Sounds like this is a massive

Thanks!

8. More directions to scanner live feed
The county is not doing the best job providing details through the media.

The best source of information is the scanner -- which anyone can access online.

Go to this website and click on the link to the "green channel and red1"

http://www.bouldercounty.org/sheriff/com/live_radio.htm

That will take you to this page:

http://www.bouldercounty.org/disclaimer/extlink.asp?link=http://www.radioreference.com/apps/audio/?ctid=247

Scroll down the page to the text highlighted in RED. Click on the speaker under the LISTEN menu.

Very dramatic.....this is information not being reported via the media.

3. and so it begins....
I've been waiting to hear reports of fire to the west of Denver and Boulder for the last year or so. Lots of standing dead timber out there, miles and miles of fuel. Good luck to anyone living out that way, in the canyons and out toward Nederland. It's going to get hot unless they can get a firebreak on this one fast.

4. Love the Front Range ...
I roomed in Boulder for 3 months, where every morning I was greeted 'Hello' by the Flatirons outside my front door ...

I hope they get this one locked down before long ...

5. the winds here aren't helping. we've had pretty much a 10-15mph
winds here all day. I'm sure the Canyon is much worse. We're beginning to get the smoke at our house in Longmont.....the wind has shifted......again.
