Iran to release one of three US hikers - report

Iran is to release on Saturday one of three detained American hikers accused of espionage, reports say.

The comments were made by an unnamed government official, who did not provide any further details, Reuters reports.

Shane Bauer, 27, Sarah Shourd, 31, and Josh Fattal, 27 were seized last July after entering Iran from Iraq.

Tehran accuses the Americans of entering Iran illegally and having links to US intelligence.
