Mexico, US and Caribbean eye trio of storms
Source: BBC News

Tropical Storm Karl is bearing down on Mexico, with two dangerous category four hurricanes - Igor and Julia - also sweeping in from the Atlantic.

Karl, packing maximum sustained winds of 65mph (100km/h), is close to the Mayan Riviera on Mexico's Yucatan peninsula.

Igor, said to be the season's most powerful hurricane, is moving west-north-west towards Bermuda.

Julia intensified to category four on Wednesday, with winds close to 135mph.

1. All but Karl will probably be caught by the Gulf Stream, and thus dissipate over the Atlantic

Good possibility of one of both of them hitting Iceland or Britain, but as much weaker storms (Probably by then became part of a Warm Front over either countries).

Thus neither is much of a threat as can been seen in the NOAA Hurricane forecast

http://www.nhc.noaa.gov/

Projection of Igor:

Projection of Julia:
http://www.nhc.noaa.gov/graphics_at2.shtml?5-daynl#contents

NOAA Projection show both of them staying over the mid Atlantic, more a hazard to shipping then any coast line.

Karl will hit Mexico by this weekend, and die by Tuesday. Very slim possibility of it reforming on the other side of Mexico as a Eastern Pacific Storm at which point it would get a new name, has happened before but a rare event most often after go over a Central America Country NOT Mexico. "Mariners' 1-2-3 Rule". which shows all three storms and their projection:

2. I'm hoping Julia doesn't immediately loop north
to join the depression that's rapidly forming to the NW of us here in the Canary Islands:

4. "second time in recorded history . . two simultaneous Category 4 storms . ."
This morning is just the second time in recorded history that two simultaneous Category 4 or stronger storms have occurred in the Atlantic. The only other occurrence was in 1926.
