Colombian drug lord is arrested in Venezuela

Venezuelan Minister of the Interior and Justice Tareck El Aissami has announced the capture of Jaime Alberto Marín aka Beto Marin, leader of Colombia's Norte del Valle drug cartel, who had a red notice issued by the International Police (Interpol).

The information was disclosed in a message posted on the minister's Twitter account (@TareckPSUV). El Aissami said that the arrest of the Colombian citizen is another big blow to international drug trafficking. He did not mention the place where the arrest took place.

The number of dangerous kingpins and members of different drug trafficking organizations requested by Interpol and arrested in Venezuela until September 2010 amounts to 16 criminals so far this year, the state-run news agency AVN reported.

3. They share the problem, and both have to be part of the solution.
He's cleaning his own house, as well.
