Boehner surprise: Dems barely get votes to adjourn after floor speech

Thirty-nine House Democrats voted against adjournment after Minority Leader John Boehner (R-Ohio) urged opposition to the motion in a floor speech that said it would be irresponsible for Congress to leave without providing certainty on the tax issue. Dozens of Democrats in tough races voted against adjourning.

No one will believe that these Democrats are really Republicans. Why bother trying?

I hope people realize they shouldn't throw out the liberal Dems but toss all these DLC fuckers.
Its not that I hate them, its that they're worthless.
I just want some politicians with good ideas that help this country...

6. It never
ends up working that way. Instead we will end up losing a few DLC types and a few real progressives. Because it isn't a fully logical "lets throw out the useless bums and save the good ones so that we can improve the situation" argument that ever works with Americans. Its only a broad brush "you ain't rich yet, throw the bums out" that resonates.
