2. there's 2 approaches that will give the same result on a poll |
i have a negative impression because i associate the budget-sucking pentagon/MIC/war machine/utter war-crime futility of the iraq war/endless strategy-lacking committment to af-pak with the 'federal government'. not to mention the war on drugs or senators coburn, kyl, and inhofe.
i imagine that this is a different objection than some fox-addled teabagger cleaning his arsenal and hoarding gold might have, but it shows up the same in this stupid Gallup BS.

3. Republicans did their job well... |
No wonder they are having successes after causing the world economy to collapse.

6. As did their appeasers. Can they drown this baby in the bathtub yet? |
Probably not, as long as there is still money to be looted.

9. At one time, there was a concept known as civic duty... |
The relationship between a citizen and the government went 2 ways. Republicans, especially with modern conservativism of Reagan, successfully sold the government as a necessary evil, and they were just the evil pukes to do what is necessary.
How do we change how people relate to their government.

4. republicons did their job very well. Piss off the american electorate... |
make sure as little as possible gets accomplished, and the relatively uneducated (politically anyway) American public will blame the "administration". And a handful of Democrats in the damned Senate played right into their hands.

5. How about a survey on how many people surveyed actually vote..... |
Then ask them what IS the government? Buildings? People? What? Who? Where?

7. There is something there for everybody to hate |
Some hate the government for doing too much, others for too little. Some like us fighting wars, other hate it...and on and on. Take this plus the utter dysfunction of Congress and it is remarkable that only 70% of people have something bad to say.
