Newark Teacher Accused Of Choking (7-year old) Student
Newark Teacher Accused Of Choking (7-year old) Student

NEWARK, N.J. A substitute teacher is accused of using a string to choke a 7-year-old student..

...(Albert Coleman) was fired by the Newark school district, and police charged him with aggravated assault...

...Authorities said Coleman reportedly told the boy that he was going to strangle him if he didn't do his homework.

...Police said the boy left the classroom and was seen by a school secretary putting water on his bruised neck, he said.

My sister just found out she's been promoted to middle school prinicipal. I was happy for her until now, LOL!

4. I had a history teacher who
threw a desk at me because 3/4 of the class hadn't done thier homework. I was one of the only people there who had. But I sat near the front of the room and so was the closest one to the desk when it was thrown. Of course, the teacher was fired a few years later for some sort of sexual thing. from what I've heard.

5. I hope there were witnesses ~ 7 year olds can be devious
If there are witnesses and it can be proved then put that person away for a while. It is for things like this that jails were created.

10. Hello
I don't think they would have fired him without witnesses, to much chance of being sued for wrongful termination.

9. At least they fired him
If this had been in New York City, the teacher probably would have been put on paid administrative leave.

11. Just Think
If the fundamentalist get there way, this kind of thing won't be against the law.

Makes you wonder if they actually stop and think about a Theocracy.
