DoD Identifies Army Casualty (New)
http://www.defenselink.mil/releases/2004/nr20040401-0503.html

The Department of Defense announced today the death of a soldier who was supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Master Sgt. Richard L. Ferguson, 45, of Conway, N.H., died March 30, in Somara, Iraq, when the military vehicle he was riding in rolled over. Ferguson was assigned to the Army’s 10th Special Forces Group, Fort Carson, Colo.

1. Anyone listen to the show 'Weaponry' on WBAI?
The host reads off the KIA lists every week, verbatim from the DOD announcements. It's chilling to hear him do it. The amount of names he lists indicates to me that the actual casualty counts are much higher than the official reports. Seems like there's always at least a dozen. :grr:

3. Yes, he does.
I think the host's name is Tom Whisker. It always sounds like a lot to me.

4. Whisker. That's the guy.
With the late-night hours that his show is on, I'm usually only half listening. But when he reads those casualty reports, it always causes me to drop whatever else I'm doing until he's finished.
