Health insurers help GOP after dalliance with Dems

WASHINGTON – Health insurers flirted with Democrats, supported them with money and got what they wanted: a federal mandate that most Americans carry health care coverage. Now they're backing Republicans, hoping a GOP Congress will mean friendlier regulations.

After all this was originally proposed by the Heritage Foundation to the Republican Party. They said there was no way they could pass such a mandate to force everyone to buy insurance. They would be thrown out at the next election.

But then a Democratic president did it.

Now they throw the DEMS under the Bus.

Max Baucus got his bonus...Big Insurance got theirs and the American people got a big wet kiss and a bill in the mail.

both right-wings of the Big Business Corporate War Party... :shrug:

They're not going to drop the near-right-wing after getting a $10 Trillion + gift from them in the "Health Insurance Corporation and Big PhRMA Stimulus Act of 2010" (mislabeled as a health care bill)...
