GOP criticizes Dollarway students attending Lincoln rally
Source: fox16

The state Republican Party is crying foul over a campaign stop from U.S. Sen. Blanche Lincoln (D-AR) in Jefferson County. The GOP issue? School kids on school time attending a rally for Lincoln.
"We don't think that's appropriate that children should be used as props during a campaign event," Lux says. "If it is going to an event where a U.S. senator is talking about some issue or something like that in her official capacity that's one thing."
"Regardless of the reason she was there, she's still our sitting senator," Bogy tells FOX16 News. "Why would anyone have a problem with a civics class coming to watch the political process? They should be glad that they're interested and that they want to come."
The GOP also alleged the students didn't get permission slips sent home to attend the event. Bogy says that's not true. Saying all the students at the rally returned signed parental permission to go.

The fine citizens of Arkansas, though relatively teabag free, are currently experiencing a GOP hissy fit over their powerlessness. The other beef, Democrat constitutional afficers (in other words, all of them) are being villified for using provided cars for personal use. Wait until you see what happens when the courts toss it out. I bet we get a visit from swillo and his band of guerilla airport men's room dwellering producers.

1. I work with a lot of people in Little Rock who were tea party people before there was a tea party.
And a lot of them are way up on the food chain.

2. I know that for a fact.
My brother's a teabagger who feeds down at ArkHealthDept (nothing hypocritical there).

But you have to admit, it's been nice to have a palin, armey, etc. free campaign season.

5. McCain did it.
McCain went to elementary schools to hold campaign rallies. I think Bush may have done it, too!

What hypocrites!

6. McLame wasn't the first.
I know personally that George H W Bush did that in Chicago.

After he landed he stated to the students that it was nice to see them wave with all of the fingers of their hands, not like the wave he saw on his trip. Marine one flew low and slow over my workplace and I showed him that he was number one in my book.

Come to think of it I may have used the wrong finger of my hand!

His statement was the lead story on at least two of Chicago's news reports that evening.
