Abortion Activist Convicted of Molestation
http://www.mercurynews.com/mld/mercurynews/news/breaking_news/8333572.htm

MILTON, Fla. - An associate of two men who murdered abortion doctors in the 1990s was convicted Thursday of molesting a teenager at a home he ran for troubled girls and women.

John Burt, 66, was found guilty of five counts of lewd or lascivious molestation or conduct, and faces a range of probation to 15 years on each count. Sentencing was set for May 12.

Burt was accused of improperly touching and propositioning the girl last year, when she was 15. She testified Thursday over a satellite television link from Northern Ireland, where she now lives.

1. This "activist"
This guy was also involved in the triple bombing of clinics on a Christmas Eve during the mid 80's. The teens that he put up to that atrocity declared it a "birthday present for Jesus".

2. I'm sure Jesus would rather have gotten another ugly tie
or even a Kmart gift certificate!

The teens that he put up to that atrocity declared it a "birthday present for Jesus".

3. what a weirdly misleading title
shouldn't it be anti-abortion "activist"? when I think of abortion activists, I think of people fighting for women's right to choose.

4. More disgusting right-wing hypocrisy.
When is the rapture going to happen so we can be rid of these people?

5. Assuming there will be a Rapture, these
F*ckers won't be the first to go. Only the righteous, remember? Then again, maybe they'll all die of grief that they have to spend the next seven years with the unbelievers. :eyes:

9. Actually the rather pleasant thought I had...
Was that maybe the that Rapture these "righteous" nutjobs are praying for will take them all away, leaving the rest of us behind to build a sane, livable planet. It makes more sense to me that the Rapture would be a cleansing, preparing the world for the 2nd Coming and the 2000 (or whatever) years of peace by removing all the bad apples. Wouldn't that be delicious irony? Especially if they all got sent straight to hell. Not bloody likely it's gonna happen though.

But hey, I can dream can't I?

10. Yeah, we can.
Besides, I much prefer your Rapture. At least the idiots go somewhere. Maybe they'll Rapture themselves straight to hell. :)

8. Any reaction from the "Christian" Coalition?
Focus On Our Fallacy? Confused Women of America? The Fraudulent Research Council? National Right to Lie?

Who cares? They're all predictable. This will be "religious profiling by the unapologetically left-wing liberal media". Maybe with some cooperation from those bleeding heart activist judges.
