1. Remember when this stuff was just a silly teenage prank
and not a hopped up news story?

Ahh the days before school shooting and terrorism everywhere. Or at least the paranoia associated with either.

2. Serious Wikileaks
coverage please.

The uncomfortable facts of the Iraq war is a little more newsworthy than smokebombs

4. Back in 1980...
I was in geometry when 3 guys I marginally knew, set off 3 m-80's in the toilets of the boys room down the hall.

Morons were still in the boys room when the set them off. They lost their hearing for quite some time.

They were kicked out of school and forced to pay the damages. And, from what I understand, they did in full.

Their parents were embarrassed and took responsibility for their kids actions. (novel concept these days). Those 3 guys didn't amount to much later one. One died in prison.

Bottom line: life was different back then before the Columbine incident. Life was different back then before 9/11. Life was different back then before we had 8 long miserable years of a self destructive pResident*.

If one needs to see how far we have fallen in society, no one need look further than how we take responsibility for our own actions.
