MADRID A bomb was found Friday under the tracks of a high-speed train link between Madrid and Seville, raising fears that Spain is the target for further terrorist attacks.
.
The interior ministerngel Acebes, said it was unclear who had placed the explosives on the tracks. Also unclear was whether there was a link to the March 11 attacks that killed 191 people and wounded more than 1,800 when 10 coordinated bombs ripped apart four commuter trains in Madrid.
.
Although Friday was a busy travel day, with trains and highways full of people leaving home for the Easter holiday next week, the state rail company Renfe said no train was close to the bomb when it was found.
.
The tracks are used by Spain's Ave trains, which can reach speeds of 300 kilometers per hour, or 185 miles per hour.
