DIA debunks conspiracy theories
Source: KDVR Denver

Many believe DIA's underground tunnels are secret bunkers built for 2012 Apocalypse and they question the strange murals that seem to depict the end of the world, and the Masonic plaque in the terminal that appears to be dedicated to a new world order, with its inscription that says "New World Airport Commission."

The strange signs and symbols are the topic of TV shows, including "Conspiracy Theory," starring Jesse Ventura.

But now DIA is debunking the conspiracy theories, by allowing FOX31 News cameras into areas no TV crew has been before.

That's how demonic it is.

"It killed its sculptor, you know. That's how demonic it is."

Priceless. BTW, is this true or am I thinking of another sculpture?

16. It's true!
A chunk of the statue - one of the legs, I think - fell on the guy in his studio while he was working on it and crushed him.

And the horse laughed!

Okay, I made the laughter part up.

17. It's true.

Mr. Jimenez was killed working on the sculpture. In 2006, while he was hoisting pieces of the mustang for final assembly in his New Mexico studio, the horse's massive torso swung out of control and crushed the 65-year-old artist.

14. I just read that about how it murdered its Dr. Frankenstein
It is hideous. I fly in and out of Denver several times a year. I still haven't gotten used to this Stallion of Satan.

5. You know something is up because the automated baggage handling equipment doesn't work right

:tinfoilhat:

That's because it wasn't designed to move baggage!

All those conveyors and machines are designed to handle

- wait for it -

BODIES!

6. yeah, faux news will do some of that "hard hitting" reporting...
either they will say all is well and we have nothing to fear and we should trust our DIA overlords or they will go the complete Geraldo route and try and find the alien sex grotto.

11. I got a tour of the underground part of the baggage system at DIA
years ago, when I was being interviewed for a job working on the software that operated that system. It was fascinating under there, but I guess they didn't show me the secret bunkers part.

I did see the cubicles, where I'd be working if I accepted the offer, but there was nothing cool about that.

15. What's the deal with the pinwheels in the train tunnels?
Are they just there to look pretty, or is there a practical function?

18. They signify Colorado's mining origins, I think
Notice that the various sculptures look like tools used in mining, including ventilation fans. So it looks like you're moving through a mineshaft.

Well, that's my guess. I've never read an official explanation.
