Iran arrests over attacks on nuclear scientists

Iran's intelligence minister says the country has made a number of arrests following attacks on two prominent nuclear scientists in Tehran on Monday.

One scientist was killed and another left seriously injured.

Intelligence Minister Heidar Moslehi said a number of people were identified and arrested in connection with what he called the two terrorist attacks.

Mr Moslehi did not identify the suspects, nor did he say how many people had been arrested. But he did repeat Iran's claim that the intelligence services of the US, Britain, and Israel were responsible for the attacks.

Just like the claim that US and Israel were behind the Wikileaks dump. They defend the weak and the poor from the powerful among them, their heart knows only virtue, and their lips speak only truth.

Amazing, isn't it? They arrest people and after just a day or so of detention cushy, hedonistic detention they're cooperating and implicating all the usual suspects--and the testimonty holds up in the court of public opinion as well as trial courts.

Meanwhile we hold our suspects for months to get stuff that fails in both courts.

I guess the strong inference is that we should treat our suspects like civilized countries do and follow Iran's modelling of good behavior.
