More Christians slain in Iraq

There is no let-up in anti-Christian violence in Iraq despite assurances from top politicians to do their best to protect the dwindling Christian minority in the country.

In Baghdad, unidentified gunmen exterminated a Christian family of three after entering their house in a the neighborhood of al-Baladiyat.

Anti-Christian violence has escalated recently. The government blames al-Qaeda operatives and Islamic fanatics.

But in Iraq’s murky political scene it is hard to believe what the government says.

The murder of the three-member family was horrendous.

The terrorists used knives in their vicious act.

What, Iraq is not satisfied they are rid of Saddam? Perhaps another trillion from U.S. taxpayers in defense contractor giveaways and political bribery will convince them, :sarcasm:
