Md. Investigators Raid Home, Office of Alleged Robocaller
Source: TalkingPointsMemo.com

Investigators for the Maryland prosecutor last week raided the home and office of Julius Henson, the man on the payroll of former Gov. Robert L. Ehrlich Jr. (R-Md.) who was allegedly behind controversial robocalls on Election Day which told mostly Democratic voters not to bother going to the polls.

Maryland's new state prosecutor Emmet C. Davitt declined to comment on the raid, the Associated Press reported.

The state attorney general filed a complaint in court last month alleging that the phone calls telling voters to "relax" violated federal law. His investigation revealed that the phone calls began two hours before polls closed and went out to more than 100,000 Maryland residents. The owner of the company that placed the calls told TPM in November that he was cooperating with the investigation.

The phone calls were intended to suppress turnout for voters supporting Maryland Gov. Martin O'Malley (D), who won reelection.

5. I really hope they
stay on this. I also hope they find proof Ehrlich knew about it.s I am suspicious since he isn't running his mouth on the TV all the time. He never saw a camera he didn't want to hop before and never missed a chance to slam O'Malley for 4 plus years. Now it is crickets. He even ran off from a question from his old employer, the one his wife still works for.
