Parcel bomb blast injures one at Swiss embassy in Rome

A parcel bomb explosion has seriously injured one person at the Swiss embassy in Rome, sources in the Italian emergency services report.

A male member of staff at the embassy received serious injuries to both of his hands, sources told Italy's Ansa news agency.

The man was rushed from the embassy on via Barnaba Oriani to hospital.

As police began an investigation, there was no immediate indication of who might have sent the device.

...and suspected envelopes and boxes were checked too at the slovenian and estonian embassies.
the "anarchist" path is the one followed by the investigators, for now.
