Obama is USA's most-admired man, Clinton most-admired woman

By Susan Page, USA TODAY

WASHINGTON — His party may have suffered a shellacking in November's elections, but President Barack Obama remains the unchallenged champion on another front: For the third year in a row, he is by far the most admired man in America.

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton continues an even longer run, ranked in the USA TODAY/Gallup Poll as the most admired woman for the ninth straight year. Former Alaska governor Sarah Palin is second, as she was in 2009.

1. Palin was most admired in 2009?
Then this doesn't mean much. Damning with faint praise, as it were...

2. because the pathetic usa-yesterday's CEO got his gifts (again)?
a.k.a., his share of tax-cuts for the Rich

1% of the US population makes 225 times the average workers incomes...

catapulting the propaganda (they must be wanting more, as is always the case, they never earn - steal - enough)

and many here 'support' them...

4. GWB is still the most admired man amongst Republicans
While Palin is the most admired woman. These folks are as delusional as ever.

5. I cannot see why we admire politicians.
Nothing against either of them, but there are better examples.

18. That's the problem...
The most deserving are average people, mothers and fathers, sisters and brothers, working to keep their community afloat. That is of course my opinion.

13. And not even GOOD hate
It's not witty, clever or makes even the slightest attempt at being thought provoking. Just non-stop caveman "Obama BAD" all of the damn time.

The only good thing is, seeing stories like this and the president's many successes and accomplishments drives them absolutely INSANE with rage. The entertainment value from that kind of makes up for the dearth of intelligence and thoughtful discourse around here. :)

14. Did you misread the posts? Or did I?
As of this minute it looks as though all of the posts, with the exception of one, are directed toward failin' Palin actually making the list. At least that's how I see it.

15. Congressman John Conyers is my most admired American.
Most admired woman would probably be THK, but Ms. Edwards ran a close second.

16. Nice to see that some folks don't buy into the Fox News spin (nm)
On the other hand, the guy at the mall with racist Obama is Hitler signs apparently does not concur.
