Miller ends challenge in Senate race
Source: Anchorage Daily News

Republican Joe Miller said today, nearly two months after Alaskans concluded voting, that he his giving up his fight challenging the election of Sen. Lisa Murkowski.

Miller thanked his supporters and said the time has come to accept the "practical realities" of court decisions that have been unanimous in ruling against his challenge. He said he would remain a voice for smaller government, less federal spending and other issues favored by the tea party.

At his first formal news conference since Oct. 11, which he left without taking questions, Miller said that he believes he raised legitimate issues in his case against the state's election officials.

Earlier today, he told an interviewer on Fox News Channel that he thought he didn't stand a good chance at the 9th Circuit, which he termed "liberal."

1. About damn time. Another Fox News "contributor" about to be hired.
He'll feed off of Murdoch's teat like the rest of them.

2. was anybody even still paying attention to him?
He lost by over 10,000 in a small state. I have never seen anybody who lost an election by such a big margin drag out the challenge for this long.

Sore loser.

4. Jeezus what a loser.
He got his ass kicked in the election, yet in his mind he won't be a senator because of the liberal courts.

6. By write-ins no less.
That has to say something. Write-in candidates are at a disadvantage from the get go. People actually have to take the time to follow directions and write in the name.

The people of Alaska must really not wanted him as their Senator or they would have just bubbled in the oval next to his name. That takes a lot more effort than most people seem to be willing to put forth in their voting habits.

5. In other words
Nobody is going to give him any more money to keep on making an ass out of himself! Those who backed him in the republican party gave up on him, Palin gave up on him, and now he has to go back to his paranoid life because he can no longer con people out of their money! Poor baby!

7. Great comment on CNN blog...
"You know Joe, a real Republican would just keep fighting to take the seat through some drummed up technicality. You'll never be a true patriot until you disenfranchise voters." Har. :patriot:
