Arms Dealer Sentenced for Defrauding the Pentagon
Source: AP

A Florida arms dealer who admitted defrauding the Pentagon in a $300 million ammunition contract has been sentenced to four years in prison.

A federal judge imposed in sentence Monday on 25-year-old Efraim Diveroli, who pleaded guilty to fraud conspiracy in August 2009. Three other executives at his AEY Inc. are also facing prison time.

Prosecutors say the men sought to illegally ship about 90 million rounds of Chinese-made ammunition to Afghan forces allied with the United States. The Pentagon contract prohibited acquisition of Chinese military gear. The ammunition was repackaged to appear that Albania was its source.

8. The greed is astounding
I mean how could EVER lose money on a Pentagon contract?

Just keep your mouth shut and do your job properly and they'll give you even MORE contracts, all with big profits.

But no, he had to have it all, right this minute.

These new thieves have no patience.
