White House on Sarah Palin's comments: No comment
Source: LA Times

The administration aims to stay above the fray when asked about President Obama stressing the need for political civility after the Arizona shootings and Sarah Palin's 'blood libel' charge.

White House spokesman Robert Gibbs pointedly avoided attempts Thursday to engage the Obama administration in a debate on civil political discourse with potential presidential rival Sarah Palin.

Speaking at his morning briefing, Gibbs ducked several questions about the president's response to Palin's comments in the wake of the Arizona shooting spree that left six dead and 19 wounded. Palin on Wednesday branded attempts by some to use the attack as a way of criticizing conservatives as "blood libel."

I mean, she is entertaining like any good trainwreck, but this (and the President's) response is the adult one.

Let's just ignore Sarah Palin to death. She wants attention. Why gratify her?

We can do the same thing to Limbaugh, Beck, Malkin and the other purveyors of hate. They say nothing based on fact; they add nothing of value to any discussion. Their followers are willfully ignorant, the kind of people who will believe that Obama was born in Kenya (or hatched in a lab funded by Bill Ayers). These people think that America is a "Christian nation" with no separation of church and state or that equality is not an American value. Anybody spewing that kind of nonsense needs a course in reading comprehension. They think the Prophet Mohammad walked the earth 1400 years ago to defy the holy authority of an empire (as if any empire could ever be holy) centered in a nation yet unborn in a land unknown to the people of his time and place. No matter how often and how convincingly they are refuted, they will come back and say the same thing.

Let's just ignore them to death.

21. I agree and disagree because of the following
My agreements are that these people have miss-used their power of speech to the point of being uncivilized. One needs to ask them how much do you agree with your statements verse how much do you state these views for money and power?

The disagreement lies with the fact that we as citizens need to know what people in power are thinking. At times, this is a very difficult task.

We need to listen and whenever possible point out how unrealistic these people are. Following their lead will only lead to their advancement. For the most this group would not be in this line of work if it were not for the money.

In paragraph number three, that is what happened to a lot of the environmental causes and the movement for world peace.

25. The WH should not comment on Facebook or Youtube postings ever! If someone has an issue to raise
let them hold a press confernce or be available for questions themselves, not hiding behind some tweets and emails. What bullshit.
