TSA makes ‘nominal’ payment to settle suit over exposing 24-year-old’s breasts
Source: Raw Story

A woman who had her breasts exposed during an airport search by the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) was to receive a "nominal" payment as a part of the settlement.

The 24-year-old woman was selected for "extended search procedures" prior to boarding a plane to Amarillo, Texas in 2008.

A lawsuit claimed that the TSA agent pulled her blouse completely down while frisking her.

Raw Story decided against republishing the woman's name and photograph due to the nature of her ordeal.

1. How many terrorists has the TSA caught?
How many rights have we lost in this "War on Terror"? How much money have we wasted?

5. That number is classified (means zero).
But by asking the question, you have identified yourself as a suspicious character. You will be put on a list! Fear the TSA! Fear them!

See, that's how they fight terror . . . with fear. If our own government can scare us more than the terrorists, then we win, or something.

18. Nope. The terrorist are winning because we are losing our freedoms ...
which was the big difference between them and us.

We need to get our representatives to rationally consider the threat and determine if all the loss of privacy accomplishes anything or just makes money for the corportations that build body scanners.

I constantly read reports of how firearms and weapons are not caught by TSA employees.

Here's a quick Google search:

http://www.google.com/search?q=tsa+misses+weapons&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&aq=t&rls=com.yahoo:en-US:official&client=firefox

Meanwhile the crews that service the aircraft are never or rarely checked.

Do Everyone, Or No One, TSA
By Jim Kirwan
12-25-10

There is really no security problem that justifies TSA's current polices that change weekly. It is clear now, that only the passengers are abused, sexually assaulted, and routinely insulted. The cargo in those planes is not even scanned, much less SEARCHED, and those that handle that cargo don't need to bother going through the screening scanners or even the body gropings that every passenger must endure, including infants. So as the title of this article says: "Do Everyone or No One TSA" because the obvious flaws in the entire procedure are criminally-lacking!

7. TSA = "Tits, Scrotum, and Ass"
Don't suppose there's a connection between "24-year-old woman" and "extended search procedures?"

I mean, if she were a 74 year-old-woman, would she had been selected for "extended search procedures?"

This shit's getting out of hand!!!...

8. One of the FOX affiliates' anchorpeople had an encounter
with the TSA this morning at Sea-Tac. He documented it on Twitter, and I paraphrase: "Junk was touched."

The guy in question is well-known and fairly popular locally, so I'll be curious to see if there is any fallout from this, at least in the Seattle area...

28. The TSA has turned airports into lots of Abu Ghraibs -- for exactly the same reasons.
The whole sexual humiliation thing was intended to break down prisoners we were abusing at Abu Ghraib. It's being used for exactly the same reason here, only on the country's population at large.
