3. I guess you have to be the CEO of a $billion corporation
to be able to afford that. Think the "little people" in the sweat shops making his god awful products could afford this?

16. apple employees are treated well
Companies like qualcomm and some of the other companies that make the parts that go into an iphone may be the subject of your scorn. Although it is always important to consider all stakeholders in any action

18. So I guess these labor groups are wrong and these
Vicious accusations have been debunked.

Hours before the latest death, chairman Terry Gou had toured the company's sprawling facilities and vowed to take sweeping action to prevent more deaths.
China's official Xinhua news agency said the company was training 100 mental health counsellors and installing 1.5 million sq metres of nets to stop workers from jumping.

10. IF he had "survived" pancreatic Cancer, is it gone, in remission, or worse...
Edited on Mon Jan-17-11 09:55 AM by forty6
metastacized to other organs in the body?

I would say IF it is the third listed, the most likely, he would be probably requiring extensive chemo radiation..then he may not be physically able to work for a while, if ever again.

15. There is another option
There is something with a good chance work in his case but he will probably never hear about it because his has access to top of the line health care.

The expired orphan drug Dichloracetate (DCA) was originally used experimentally for children with mitochondrial problems. It can no longer be patented. However in a recent set of ground breaking peer reviewed papers it been has shown to have spectacular anti-cancer properties with minimal side effects compared to traditional "it kills cancer cells faster than your other cells" chemotherapy drugs.

Teddy Kennedy was in a similar place because DCA is particularly effective against his type of brain tumor but he had the best doctors available.

I suspect this may be the underground "peoples drug" for cancer for the present/future for people who have little/no access to health care. It is very cheap and can be very effective for certain specific cancers (those that have turned off the mitochondria in the tumor). It can also be used with traditional chemo. The cost per day is roughly $1per day but you cannot legally buy it in the united states and need to be careful to get the correct form. You must also take vitamin B1 at the same time.

Note, this is a serious drug and people need to educate themselves on how to take it. The site above has the information. In cases where it is very effective, larger doses can cause Tumor Lysis Syndrome by destroying a tumor too fast. TLS can kill you.
