That being said, I've read Mark Kelly bio and find him to be an extraordinary person.

7. It shows me that this man has more compassion and empathy...

than the media, who have hounded this couple for what their son did, and have alluded they have made the situation possible.

In this country, it is well established that with out a direct tie to a crime, we do not indict family members for the crime of someone in that family.

From what I saw of them today, they appeared to be shattered and I know I would be if this had happened to someone in my family.

I've watched where the victims of crimes and the survivors have walked both sides of this line. Regardless of my own feeling toward the crime that took place, I have to have the utmost respect for those that look for closure in this way. It is indeed a showing of the higher angels of our nature.
