Dist. 20 Republican fighting goes to court
Source: Arizona Republic (Azcentral)

A nasty power struggle and allegations of email threats between factions of Legislative District 20 Republicans is headed to court.

It started as a tiff between moderate Republicans and the more conservative Tea Party activists over Chairman Anthony Miller's work for Sen. John McCain's campaign.

Now former committee secretary Sophia Johnson, who quit with the chairman and is associated with the moderate group, said she's afraid of fellow precinct committeewoman Sandra Miller, who has been linked to with the more conservative faction.

Johnson is seeking an order of protection against Sandra Miller.

1. But the Tea Baggers aren't violent or ultra-conservative or even Republicans
So stop saying that! They're just home-grown ordinary citizens, concerned about political issues and interested in centrist solutions. And you'd better not have a problem with that if you don't want to get lead poisoning.

Hey, kidding!

2. Says it all.
"Darryl Jacobson-Barnes, a Dist. 20 precinct committeewoman and longtime Republican activist, said she has witnessed internal party disagreements before but this one "has escalated beyond what I have seen in the past. We've always been able to shake hands at the end so we can get the job done. We have respected our common goal." This time the opposing group "is very caustic, very offensive in their tactics, kind of paranoid and conspiratorial-appearing," said Jacobson-Barnes, 53."

3. Gee... I wonder what brought about the caustice and very offensive tactics?
I bet it was the refusal to behave themselves in Congress that encouraged those on the local level to go wacko.

4. Why do we use the word conservative not radical.
I just don't get it. They are crazy ass radicals a lot more so than my socialist friends.
