Anti-abortion protest at Sultana High prompts extra police support
Source: VV Daily Press

VICTORVILLE • An anti-abortion protest by a pro-life group planned for Friday outside Sultana High School has prompted school officials to alert parents of the event and call in extra police support.

On Thursday parents received an automated phone call from Principal Larry Bird notifying them that a peaceful anti-abortion protest was scheduled to begin around 1:30 p.m., shortly before school lets out around 1:51 p.m. He said the protest had nothing to do with Sultana or Hesperia Unified School District, and that he would have an increased police presence on campus to ensure a safe environment.

Parent Cheryl Talkington said she’s concerned about the potentially graphic images the group may be handing out to students.

“Everybody has the right to their free speech, obviously, but why do you do it at a high school?” Talkington said. “The place to be for those people is an abortion clinic if that’s what they’re so worried about.”

The American Taliban Teahadist terrorists have a NEW gig. They've decided it's their Gawd given right to TERRORIZE children in front of their schools with abortion pictures. Someone should SUE them for child abuse!

1. but why do you do it at a high school?”
Puleeze!

This is part of the problem. Does she think high school students might not be some of the 1st people who might seek an abortion?

And they should be able to have one.

This fairy tale view of life....High school students don't have sex, all babies are a gift from heaven.... is just pitiful for a supposed adult.

Buy worry not! The big spook in the sky will make everything alright.... eventually. What goes around comes around....

or maybe not.

NOT

2. If they didn't tell lies and hand out bloody photos,
Maybe then they would earn one ounce of respect. The anti-abortion groups with compassion are the ones that help young single Moms with baby clothes and food and housing.
These other people at the high school just enjoy calling young girls sluts.

4. is that Larry Bird the basketball pla...naw scratch that.
Peaceful protest needing more cops? What?

And these religious kooks can shove their junk science up their hineys.

For a breath of fresh air, PZ Myers rips apart those anti-choicers.
