Fighter Jets Fly Above Egypt Protesters

BREAKING NEWS2:54pm UK, Sunday January 30, 2011

SKY NEWS

Egyptian air force fighter jets have been flying low over Cairo as helicopters hovered above protesters demanding an end to President Hosni Mubarak's rule.

It was the latest show of military might in an apparent effort to send demonstrators back to their homes before a curfew.

Mr Mubarak held talks with top military commanders earlier in the day, state media reported.

Despite a heavy military presence, huge crowds flocked to Tahrir Square, which has become a rallying point for demonstrations in the Arab nation.

9. I think they're trying to say that if they wanted to keep control, they could.
Things could get real if the Egyptian gov't chose to.
